Sandy in Shock Modeling Shame!?

Russ found this poster at work, is it the ginger prince doing a spot of moonlighting to make ends meet? Or are there two chisseled ginger princes in this land? C'mon Sandy own up....

Plan B/Dreamland...In Essex!

This coming sunday sees two amazing events for the lovely Essex. The first is the opening of the first Dreamland built concrete skatepark in the UK in Saffron Walden. The second is the Plan B team opening the place with a demo. Think about Danny Way, Colin McKay and Pat Duffy killing the bowls, PJ being PJ and Wenning nosegrind popouts on the fresh ledges all day long. Could be something special. Check the skatepark's website at www.oneminetpark.co.uk for more details on the park and check out Sandy's pics of the park building in progress from a little while ago below. Going to be a winner...

Jim Rands Portfolio...

A special Bank Holiday Monday update...it was MN OG Jim's birthday last week and to celebrate we've uploaded jim's portfolio section with a small electronic mountain of awesome photos he took back in the day. Jim kills it both on his skateboard (check his part in 'lately' on it's watch online page) and with a camera lens so click on the portfolio and enjoy...

You may also have noticed the 1991-1997 gallery is now live too. We've added Jim's photos in there plus some LBD snaps too, including the above pic of Jim and Gonz from 1993. loads more LBD photo goodness coming soon with Dan's own portfolio...

'Seaside' Southend Video Premiere...

Speaking of Southend...'Into The Fall' contributor (sadly we forgot to credit him in the video due to our sieve heads, sorry!) and long time homie Mark Longman has been working on a new Southend skate video called 'Seaside'. With some Southend luminaries and a pile of amazing Southend Spots its going to be a winner! The premiere is on Wednesday 6th at the Sun Rooms. As well as a MN OG Ben Sutcliff full part, rumour has it Southend legend Sean Ward is going to have a full part too...

Saarfend Again...

Russ and Sandy headed over to Southend again last Sunday to meet up with Ben and Jay Tate. Needless to say it was a very productive day as always. More new spots, Southend is good for skating. Fact. Could we be seeing a full Jay Tate section in the next visual presentation....looks that way......

London/Girl...

Saturday not only saw the Girl/Chocolate team visiting London it also saw a pile of friends from all over the south coming together for a skate in the city too. Russ and Ben from the mighty Essex, Paul, Ray, Gorm and Dave from inside the M25, Gary, Rob, Gosport Kev and crew from Southsea and a special guest from Chicargo, Jacob. Warm ups at Mudchute and an impromtu curb session was the order of the day before the big meet up at dirtbank for the Girl/Chocolate demo. Malto killed it. A few street beers and then a skate along the river to White Grounds for a session and then the pub as the sun set. 'The Summer of Action' is at full throttle and it's not even June yet!

our man in croydon

Gonz moved to london last weekend, which is partly why there were no updates for a while. tho russ has been given the spare set of keys to the site to assist paul in updates direct from the motherland. we'd like to wish paul and meg all the best in croydon and we look forward to plenty of london skate trips this summer with somewhere to stay in t'smoke! can we ask ray and gorm to look after our pg please, he gets lost very easy and please keep him in chocolate bars, fizzy drinks and film for his cameras.
