Friends

As the deadline and subsequent premiere approach over the horizon the contributions from good friends of the network are coming in. Today we had the first of some Nigel Davis (one of romford's best kept secrets) footage from contributor Kevin Parrott. Other highlights for the friends section will include the rest of the Romford crew, Macey, Luke, Simba, etc from Mikey Parmenter in Chelmsford, Dave Watson, Si Skipp, Pedro Littleton, Adam Howe and many many other friends from near and far!

Veran and Document

Veran's going to be in the new issue of Document magazine due out in a few days, check the website for his little face. Stories have filtered back about him skating hard and heavy up in Scotland too. Not to mention his new i-path flowage. Good work Vezington Bassett Esq!

The Jugga

Friend of the family and one of Sweden's finest exports Danijel Todorovic was in town thursday night. Himself and Veran are off on a Harmony tour of bonnie Scotland from this weekend but before they set off Russ, Dave and Veran gave Danijel a quick tour of some of Colchesters spots. As always he was a gent and was even good enough to film a couple of moves for Russ's soul stealer before the pub! Good luck in Scotland boys, stay well clear of the haggis!

No Time For Snapping...

After a totally awful start to the day at the skate park last Sunday suddenly got a whole lot better very quickly. A small crew of Russ, Gonz, Veran, Steve and (Mr) Dave Underwood hit up some local spots that had been on the cards for a while with excellent results. Everyone filmed at least one thing and some even filmed a few! Infact we were so busy skating/filming we didnt even have time to take many pics. You'll just have to wait for the footage to really see what went down.

Gaps, Ledges and the Yoot

Now the weathers getting better, its loads easier to get stuff done at night. Thursday night Ben, Dave, Veran, Russ and Steve checked out a few local spots. After a pretty non eventful start at a spot in town, Veran got a speedy trick on tape at a new spot - just before getting kicked off. And Steve layed down possibly one of the finest tricks ever witnessed at the black window ledge spot. As usual the yoot are taking care of business!

April Showers

It's always a gamble when travelling on a touch-and-go weather type of Sunday, always a bad sign when you're halfway there and there are rain spots on the windscreen too. As it was this Sunday, on the way down to Southend-on-Sea, on a little trip to skate some new street spots. First spot was the new bank/manual/ledge setup, Ben's new favourite spot. In attendance, Ben (our host and guide), Russ, Wiggy, Steve, Gonz, PJ and the Southend fellas. The rain soon decended, setting the theme of the afternoon, pull up at a spot and minutes later the heavens open up. Next spot was the new bus station. We got soaked and then after getting kicked off the pavement (!) by a security guard whilst waiting for it to dry we got the boot by the police. Trying times. The weather improved though, and so did the skateboarding. We hit up a load of different new spots, stairs, ledges, flatbars, even a roadgap. Russ got some footage in the bailgun and everyone managed to get some good skating in between the downpours and gales. A return trip needs to be soon, this time with textbook seaside weather, please.
