I’m sure most of you are have been aware of Sandy’s art over the years but just in case you weren’t aware of his blog, then you probably should be. Bone Idle Bible is where Sandy puts up new works, experiments, projects, old goodness and all sorts of nice things to check out, be sure to keep an eye on it for updates.

Last Thursday was Go Skateboarding Day and in the evening the Blueprint/Nike SB ‘Standing on the Shoulders of Giants’ exhibition opened in Brick Lane. Paul made it down for the evening with MN friends Ray, Gorm, Mark Brewster, Kevin Parrott and Irish Steve and from the three scimitars Chelmsfordian Macy made it down too. The show is amazing with loads of old Blueprint goodness and new Nike SB photos and shoes. Another highlight is the Made For Skate skate shoe exhibit which will make everyone smile thinking back to the old classic skate shoes they used to rock skating the curb outside their house as a kid. The show is on for another couple of weeks and is well worth a trip down to visit. More details can be found over at Blueprint.

Yesterday was a weird one, one minute it was raining, the next it was drying out. and repeat. again and again. the day started with gonz taking some photos of dave’s new mural in the student union at colchester institute. then a meet up with russ to go skate and take some skate snaps. at the skatepark though it was blowing a gale and after a drive to a spot the heavens opened. daffodils say spring, the weather does not. didn’t stop dave getting some waterlogged tricks down and some footage and snaps. the skate photos are under wraps for the moment but here are a few others…

Thursday night was the opening night of Dave’s latest art show with The Scrawl Collective entitled ‘Elephant Technique’ in London’s trendy shoreditch area. Free beers, an amazing venue and our boy Dave producing some lovely work made it a classic night out in the smoke. Good work DD!
