The best little mini ramp in Essex is once again host to a fun day and comp on the 26th. Southend’s Eastwood ramp has been bags of fun for over two decades now and Switch Store and Shintap have organised what will be the 3rd annual event. No doubt local legends including Sean Ward, etc will be in attendance. Check the flyer for more details and see below for footage from last year.

Last summer a few of us headed down to Southsea for the weekend to check out the various street spots the fine city has to offer. The weather was great and we got alot done. Over the past week there’s been talk of a return visit and this prompted me to post up this clip of Jay from our last trip.

Just saw on Facebook Ian and Grant have arranged a boozy reunion night of OG Chelmsford skaters :

A big shout out to all you old school Chelmsford skaters…..You know who you are…….Adam and Grant W, The Clucks, Toby, Ewan and Ian H….Stevie G, Matty H…..American Pete (Ha!)….Rad Russ and the hardcores , Mr J Rands, Richard F, Grant R, The Panks, Moulsham, Great Baddow and Chelmer crews….You get the gist!!!!!! Anyway Grant W and myself want to get an Oldschool reunion shizzle going for a night of drunken mayhem starting at 7.30 pm @ O Cornors just off Moulsham St for Saturday 20th June. It’s been to long guys so how about a night of maddness, good memories of happy days and lets pretend for one night that we are 16 again and that we dont give a shit like we used too. Please feel free to add any photos, videos or messages that you think will get us stoked up for the party and please please get the word about to anyone you think could come along who I may have forgotton about. Look forward to seeing all there, sticks and all…………….

Back in 1996-7ish Bryony, Emmeline and Scott worked together on Trashmag, a little local magazine they put together. I was in Portsmouth at the time and thought it would be funny to send them a letter and figured they would guess who it was from, turns out they didn’t. Oops. I guess it isn’t something you can do these days without getting in a spot of bother. No Anthrax was harmed in this presentation. – Paul.

Was looking through some old bits and pieces the other day and found found an old posse shot of the OG MN crew back in…maybe 1995? The scan is a bit crappy but it stoked me out, we used to roll crew deep when street skating Chelmsford.

Here’s a clip of  a pretty jank park I skated in Southend on Saturday with the Likdown crew. Best thing there were the metal benches around the edge!
