SF homie and awesome photographer Jon Dragonette is trying to raise support for his entry in the Name Your Dream Assignment competition. Jon wants to photograph the landmine and unexploded bomb victims of Laos and also cover the charity efforts that try and discover the old munitions and also tend and care for their victims. Jon’s photos would then be exhibited and all money raised would be donated to these charities and they would also raise awareness of the crisis, a very good cause.

Jon needs as many people as possible to sign up and vote for his entry so if you could spare 60 seconds to register, we (and Jon) would really appreciate it. To find out way more about Jon’s entry and to also vote go here. A big thank you in advance.

Just wanted to mention a couple of amazing Facebook groups about Chelmsford’s past, one about The Prince of Orange pub and Chelmsford’s Wild Youth. Both groups are full of incredible photos and stories from the 70s through to now and well worth joining and getting involved…the photos of Chelmsford’s punk scene from the late 70s are simply awesome. Below are a few stolen photos from the groups, a young Matt Letch, some Chelmsford punks and The Kites…

Proper good H.K day out today over to sunny Walton On the Naze.

Checked out the remains of the original 70’s park, which after a bit of love still proved to be fun. then headed to the latest park before the rain clouds called time on the session.
