Essex Tour 2001

As a Christmas present we’ve uploaded the rare Monster Network video ‘Essex Tour 2001 (It Came From the South)’! Back in the summer of 2001, thanks to LBD’s planning, friends and OG Monsters came together for a 4 day tour around Essex and a little bit of Suffolk. It was weather stricken and boozy but it was also one of the best times bringing a large group of friends back together to skate, drink and goof off. Raise a drink this Christmas to skateboarding and friendship and to the English summer!

That was dope to see that again! Love the Rom stuff with Rands and Lloyd ripping it up, that bit where Lloyds moaning about it being wet then rides in and does that little sweeper then that boneless on the big bank, CMON BRO! steezin it!
for nostalgic reasons alone it fucking rules. so good to have almost everyone in there at some point.
i’d love to say “lets sort one out this summer” but without LBD managing it its more than a little doubtful…
who knows though…

ha ha the old queer henry monkey slam is a memory you could bottle up and sell in harrods. unforgettable. is that bit at the end me throwing a bike down that hill? if so, whose bike is it cos that was sudbury and none of us chelmsford lads brought a bike up there. good times and made me smile, well done lads x
